In London, The Wombat had to visit the Museum of Natural History, because of all the dinosaurs they have. Look at that HUGE dino skeleton in the main hall of the museum!
The Wombat was very impressed with the displays. They even have dinos hanging in the air!
And look! There even was a model of the Stegosaurus, like the one The Wombat made at home.
Things were only getting better: around the corner The Wombat came eye to eye with a life- size moving and growling Tyrannosaurus Rex! "How Exciting!", The Wombat said, bouncing around the room.
But in spite of the presence of all these prehistoric monsters, the highlight of the museum was the discovery of a stuffed wombat in the mammals section. After all the excitement the dinosaurs caused, The Wombat got a little emotional at seeing a distant relative. The Wombat sat there for a while, lost in thoughts....
